Get the Most Out of Your Health Insurance

At Back on Track we understand that managing health costs is important to you. That’s why we are committed to making it as easy as possible for you to access your benefits. We accept a variety of health insurance plans and provide convenient on-the-spot claims with our HICAPS™ machine.

Health Insurance

We are pleased to accept most major health insurance funds. Simply bring your health insurance card, whether it’s a physical card or in your digital wallet, and we’ll handle the rest. Our team will assist with processing your claims directly at the time of your appointment.

How it works:

  1. Bring Your Health Insurance Card: You can use either a physical card or one stored in your digital wallet
  2. On-the-Spot Claims: With our HICAPS™ machine, we process your claims immediately, allowing for reduced upfront costs -  you only need to pay the gap between the rebate amount and the full fee.

Medicare

We accept referrals which allow you to claim Medicare benefits. To access Medicare benefits, talk to your GP about a possible referral under the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care or EPC). This plan provides up to 5 partially covered treatments per calendar year for chronic conditions.

Eligibility and Benefits:

Medicare benefits for physiotherapy are available if you have a chronic condition or complex care needs. Physiotherapy at Back on Track Sports Physiotherapy is a highly respected treatment option for chronic pain and chronic disease management, including conditions such as:

  • Osteoarthritis of the knee and hip
  • Low back and neck pain
  • Tendon and ligament injuries (e.g., Tennis elbow or ACL rupture)

You can claim a rebate of $60.35 (as of July 2024) on the spot. We take care of the entire claims process for you.

How It Works:

  1. Obtain a Referral: Visit your GP to get a referral for the CDM plan
  2. Schedule and Attend Your Appointment: Book your appointment with us and pay the full fee at the time of your visit
  3. Reimbursement: After your appointment, Medicare will then pay the benefit directly to your bank account
