Appointment information

Back on Track offers “no gap fee” physiotherapy for clients with an approved TAC plan. This means you can see one of our Physiotherapists without incurring out-of-pocket costs. However, if you prefer to see one of our Senior APA Titled Sports Physiotherapists, a gap fee applies. 

Gap Payments for TAC Physiotherapy Appointments

Note: Private health insurance can be used to cover some or all of the gap payment, depending on your policy.

TAC Eligibility Information

To access TAC-funded Physiotherapy services, you’ll need to provide the following details during your appointment:

• Your TAC claim number (e.g., xx/xxxxx)
• The date of the accident
• The name and contact details of your case manager (if assigned)
• The “treatment approval” letter from TAC (contact TAC if you don’t have this letter)

Approved TAC claims generally cover treatment for the first 90 days after the accident. If ongoing treatment is required, your Physiotherapist can request additional funding on your behalf.

What If I Don’t Have Current TAC Treatment Approval?

If more than six months have passed since your last TAC-covered treatment or you don’t have an approved treatment plan, you have two options:

1. Contact TAC prior to your appointment to request approval for further treatment.
2. Pay the full appointment fee upfront. Your Physiotherapist will submit a new treatment plan to TAC. If approved, TAC will reimburse some or all of the fees.

24-Hour Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the full private rate will apply. This fee is not covered by TAC and must be paid out of pocket.
